Does English really matter?
My English is not very decent. But I have good technical knowledge that will affect me in my career and growth path?
Communication matters - if you are able to communicate you’re sorted. If not you’re screwed. English is just like another language but spoken globally in different ways and dialects. It’s super important that you speak clearly, articulate your thoughts well and fluently if you ever wanna grow and attain a leadership role.
It won’t matter in initial phase of the career, but as you grow up in career, it starts mattering a bit more and more. But you can learn on the way I guess

yes, work on it. for MNC like google your interviewer may be some European. so be prepared.
Your English seems fine to me (based on your question), we only need a bare minimum English to sustain and grow in corporate, after that only confidence and articulation matter, so instead of English work on those two.
