Does Dropshipping really work

Everyone is selling something or the other on Instagram through FB ads or Google ads, does it really work, should I give it a try? Btw I have no idea how ads etc work but can learn.

I honestly doubt it. Sure, there are ways to make money doing it. But making a user buy something solely based on ads without a brand name is hard. I know I wouldn’t buy it.
