Does criminal cases and education level make a difference when you vote?

Just saying... If it mattered then half our elected MLAs and MPs would not be in power....

The question is - if they are in power rn, should it continue? Shouldnt we hold our MPs accountable to a higher standard ?

Its a team game, which ever team got good leader and bonding you should opt them . Think of it as a game.
Say in cricket your education or criminal cases does not matter. You support them for their efforts, ability to make decisions and work for it.😬

To some extent.

Top layer : CM or PM candidate. I mostly judge them on their governance and how he keeps the trust of the people who voted for him/her. I don't care about education and criminal cases because education doesn't matter much in leadership and fake cases are filed all days against top leaders anyways.

Local leaders : The one who will be reaching out to you for vote. Now here, you already know if those cases against him are real or not...so if real, then definitely no vote. I can't just hand a loaded pistol (political power) to a known gunslinger.

A serious criminal case should matter (not cases where FIRs are filed for protest etc.). Education is not a good predictor for the good political leadership. We’ve many examples of less educated but revolutionary leaders and highly educated but corrupt & inefficient politicians. It is better to check their past track records and prudence of their policies.

No point in voting based on an individual candidate. Ultimately it's the party and the upper leadership that matters
