Does being fair can be an advantage in dating?

Like face extremely unfriendly and they do not have jawline or slim cheeks but that guy is extremely fair. Can he be liked by someone. I'm even fair very fair like get 2-3 glances but no smiles as they say girls smile. And honestly I'm just an average in looks on a good day. Regardless to say on dating apps I don't get any matches. Don't have any female friends too, I belong to north side of India too where as well I'm fair like creamy white fair. No girl ever tried approaching me and I'm insecure about myself due to which I never striked convos randomly. Just seeking an opinion from girls here is it can be any benefit or not like if it's of any use nowadays.
