Does applying to old job posting make sense?

The job posting could be on LinkedIn or the company's careers page. Some are quite old like 2 weeks+. Anybody got any response after applying to old job postings?

No. It usually ends with "due to so many applications received, we are not able to move forward with you at this time" after 2-3 weeks.

Assuming you're paying without referral. Even with a referral it's next to impossible.
