does anyone use an electric heater for Bangalore weather?

my family's rather prone to chest congestion issues and viral/bacterial infections in Bangalore.

To maintain a healthy room temperature at home, do folks use any electric heater? Any recommendations welcome.

Note: we use a humidifier for my kid's room, but doesn't seem to help once your body gets used to it.
