Does anyone misses their childhood?

I have a toddler at home. Looking at him playing around with no worries, makes me want to shrink and go back to childhood. What are your thoughts?

You are unhappy (in some way or the other) with your current situation which is causing you to revert to childhood. 😊 Reminisce the bondage, The dependency. The angst you had to grow up ASAP to live life on your terms. And then fix your present state of affairs.

After doing that let me if you still want to go back or not

3 layoffs back to back(2020, 2021, 2023) makes you question your abilities. Hard to be positive and sometimes these thoughts come. Then you start comparing with your peers and see them doing great in their career(I know shouldn’t do but situation only is like that). Then you to start to wonder “Where did I go wrong? What did I do wrong? Why is it happening to me? How do I get out of it?” And then you see your son happily playing)which does make me really happy, but for some moment).

Sir don't loose hope. You can turn around your life. If you think deeper yes childhood has good memories but to wish to go back is dumb. At least you have the ability to bounce back and stand on your feet if we compare it to childhood days.

Live in present. It's beautiful. Nothing wrong in comparing with other. It's necessary. But primarily compare with who you were yesterday. Improve gradually.

You were also a toddler son to someone once. That joyful moments soon become frustrated one when we can't leave the home if we get angry on our guardians 😂 Every side has positives and negatives. Cherish old memories but one should fix their present first. Also for situations like layoffs focus on the controllables. Virat or Dhoni talked about controlling the controlables ❤️
