Does anyone know how to get released from a project which I am working for past 3 years. Is it a straightforward procedure or complicated.

Problem with release is that accounts cannot find a replacement due to inefficient rmg process. Accounts are just holding resources without work because they can't find a resource when a new project comes. This has created a very bad environment where many people are sitting idle in accounts and others are stuck in same position for years.
