Max 15 leaves will carry forward; the rest lapse. Total balance cannot exceed 30. Example: Year 1 → 15, Year 2 → 15, Year 3 → 0 (as cap 30 reached).

What's year start is it from date of joining or jan only

if it is 1st year, 15 leaves will be carry forwarded. For more than a year, 30 leaves forwarded.

Max of 30 leaves can be carry forwarded

I think I read in ask Adam that max sum will be of 30 leaves. Remaining extra leaves will lapsed.
