Trending @Infosys; Does anybody have crucial deliverables planned on or around Diwali holidays (31st or 1st) ? How are you dealing with it?

Since company is not giving a damn about it's poor employees , in return frustrated employees without hike are also ignoring the deliverables and focusing on self.

You too enjoy this Diwali with your loved ones.

They aren't even giving a Diwali Lunch.... Like they want you to come to office, But they won't incentivize it ... Not even a chocolate or sweets or dryfruits box.... Then why waste energy and time on such people...

Wish it was that easy. I believe it's the higher management, probably the delivery manager, who has promised the client that the project will be delivered (dev complete) on 1st Nov.

Everyone in upper management starting from PMs, are totally disconnected from the actual development status. They only see how many Story points are completed. Crucial functionalities like storage and authentication are being implemented in the last week which then need to be integrated to all submodules of the application.

Its on the developers to complete the features anyhow by Nov 1st. The blame will be put on the developer for prioritising Festival over work. And it doesn't look like we'll be having a clean plate before 31st Oct.
