Does anniversary rating matter for lateral joinees later when you receive performance rating ?

Hello guys ,

I joined tcs in 2022 with YOE 2 years ago and received an anniversary rating of 4 in 2023. On that basis I had received a revised offer letter , but that was not implemented . This year I got a performance band of 3.9 . Just wandering will my previous hike will be considered this year when bands are released?

Your anniversary rating is as relevant as the promises of a politician before elections. TCS, or any company, will do what suits them. 'Dhobi ka kutta, na ghar ka na ghaat ka', isn't it? Now, tell me, why are you relying on a system that's as predictable as Mumbai's monsoon?
