Does an MBA or a MS really matters?

I have recently graduated in 2023 and working sometimes have this thought to do an MBA or something but not sure if it is actually required. Does it matters for key decisions like promotions, etc Will i be able to negotiate a better pay if I have an MBA??

MS or MBA are not interchangeable. Where it really matters is, in your heart, what are you passionate about - do you want to be an engineer, or do you want to be business guy?

The MS vs. MBA needs to be taken on that factor alone, that whether you want to grow into engineer roles, or into business roles
