Does an individual contributor have a future at zepto
I'm an SDE 3 and want to grow as an individual contributor, but my manager suggests transitioning into a Tech Lead role. He believes it’s difficult to attribute business deliverables to an IC, which might impact my growth at Zepto. I'm a bit confused and would appreciate some advice.

In a young setup like ours, the long IC track just doesn’t have legs - but it does in a matured setup (GCC or large org) because projects are longer, slower, have scope for people in different capacities. Ours is focused on delivery for next 2 years, long term excellence will be appreciated by your juniors but won’t benefit you in your transitions or career upgrades.
