Does amazon provide any training for the new joining sdes or you are basically on your own?
About to join this month, Most probably I will get a tech stack which I have never worked on before so do they give some time or you start working right away ?

Depends on the team, in some teams you are sink or swim
In some teams you will be given some time

They have a very generic sde bootcamp to get hands-on on internal tools. It's bare minimum but enough to get started. Other than that, most teams expect you to contribute from second or third week.
