Trending @Accenture; Does Accenture retain if we have offer in hand by matching the offer ?

Thanks for sharing but my level is at 11 sub level 2

As per the current situation, they won’t retain until and unless you role is a high demand. I submitted my resignation and manager called me and told me that they don’t have budget to retain with the package that I have got outside but asking to stay in Accenture saying that they will push my promotion or high in December. I asked them to confirm the same over email but they denied to do so. Also, due to the current situation they haven’t onboard anyone for my replacement instead they asked one of my colleague to handle this work additionally, since they haven’t got approval to hire someone at level 9

This is the situation from past 1.5 years. Accenture is loosing its core talented people and always looking for replacemengs with less budget.
Can't hold on by believing them that something fruitful will happen in December. ZERO HOPES!!

Yes. That’s true

Mostly No, Very Rarely.

Unless you super skilled and necessary for your current role, just take the offer and move on.

No they won’t. There is nothing like Retention budget here

You never know if your boss is also in notice period So never negotiate once you have an offer.
I have seen many people taken resignation back after the promise of a hike, promotion and onsite. In 90% of cases promises were broken.

Earlier they used to try. Now no budgets to do that
Yes, they do, depending on how critical you are
