Do you wanna settle abroad?
Yes or No. And why?

India is a shit country i was born dalit but this country makes wanna die everyday. As soon as i tell anyone I'm dalit they stop talking to me i know most of Indians hide that they are dalits coz they are afraid but i tell people and see them calling me "chutiya chamar" behind my back. Other countries have class barrier which you break once you become successful but this shit country has caste barrier they don't care how much i contribute to this country how much successful i become they will call "chutiya chamar quota se aa gya". In countries like US blacks call themselves proud black and people respect that as whites have tortured them... but i don't see any dalit in India calling themselves proud dalit and i don't see a day where a small guy such as a sweeper has guts to say I'm proud dalit. So i want to go to abroad where people will judge me by my skills not by my surname.

Other people calling India shit are getting so much backlash but not a single similar reaction to THIS comment..hmm

You are in for a big surprise if you think people outside of India will beyond your skin and solely judge on the kind of person you are. Having lived in 2 countries in the west, I can safely say that even though people in the west are not actively racist but their prejudices are just as bad. It's just that it's very passive. You'll probably never have a super close white friend, would have a hard time dating, cannot relate to anyone around you.

Love India too much - want to be a part of its growth story in my small way
Also - family and friends are here, cannot imagine meeting them only once or twice a year
I know the first point is not too logical, but these are imaginary concepts to believe in, that just give you something bigger to serve for
I know lifestyle could be better (have lived in Singapore before), but honestly it also felt lonely and missed India everyday

India through and through, only vacations abroad.
Had enough of people complaining about how bad india is and then leaving it and still complaining. Want to help it grow to show those bastards that they were wrong.
Plus, there's no other country I care about.

I want to leave. Seeing how people are brainwashed by the ruling government's ideology and nationalists, I don't see a bright and healthy future for the country. 2024 election results will be a final nail in the coffin.
Little to no care for humans (casteism, misogyny), lack of opportunities versus the avalanche of job seekers at every step, and the incredibly toxic workplaces and levels of pollution.
The India I loved doesn't exist anymore. What exists is pothole ridden landmass being overrun by insecure folks masquerading as nationalists.

Good riddance

Thus, my point is proven.

The sanghis really came out for this post. Barthan banging and everything.

Ok so if people don’t abuse India or Modi they are Sanghi?

No they aren't. But if your initial reaction to someone offering criticism is "Go to Bangladesh" or "You're a loser, India is not", then yeah. I think so.

The reason I am moving abroad is the lack of opportunity in India. If you’re not sure about where you’ll be making your career, India isn’t the place to be.
Also don’t even get me started about WLB. You’re overworked in the name of comp off which you don’t even get.
I feel the quality of life is better, there are only selective cities in India which can match that.
Might be or might not be true for some but this is what I feel

If your primary reason is lack of opportunity, I would suggest you to rethink. Because currently the only place where there are enough opportunities is south east Asia. And that too India primarily.

Yes. Over crowded as hell. Traffic. Can't walk on roads properly. Can't get bus train tickets. Very poor infra wherever I have lived. Tier 2 and 3 cities have poor jobs. Also absolutely hate the political climate and what the parties stand for. Worst police and government institutions. All this makes me want to move out, but maybe I won't due to family commitments.

This is the most logical rationale for leaving India
