Do you update your profile across hiring platforms even if not looking for change?

To see what kind of recruiters show interests and what kind of job openings match with my profile. Plus some groundwork is already there if there is ever a sudden need to switch. (layoff or I decide to quit in frustrated, rushed decision etc)
