if your manager is a EU/American. The odds of having a decent WLB is very high.
Peace of mind is a problem only with certain Indian manager.
Peace of mind is surely a problem with Indian managers based in EU/US.
Company has no role to play here.

#1 Quality of work and learning #2 Work Life balance and good culture #3 Money
You would get max 2 of the above but not all three anywhere in my experience. Let me know if any such company exists in today's market. I am excluding FAANG from consideration now due to random layoffs.
