We have risen a lot and the market will correct . All the reasons you have mentioned don't have any effect on the market. In fact layoffs are positive for the market.
Why ??? Since expenditure reduces profit increases so u say so ?
But the image gets tarnished right

Layoffs have been happening for quite sometime now, market has already factored that in. This is not a new news for the market.
We ll fall because market works in cycle. Price has risen a lot and if earnings dont catch up, Market will get punished.
Layoffs usually mean think towards profitability, market go up.
None of the triggers you mentioned can cause massive falls. Layoffs make a minuscule of Indian labour. VCs don't plan exits over a weekend. Unemployment has been on a rise for years now and as far as I know, corporate love BJP.
It definitely needs to be corrected desperately by a north of 8-10% but the trigger is just not there.
