Do you think job security is more essential than learning?

Most these days people are leaning towards securing their jobs as much as gaining knowledge. Since everyone has immense commitments they only look for job security and not learning. More than 50℅ of the people opt for securing their jobs since the evolution of Ai (in real time even thought AI was there more than a decade)....

Even though the salary is less than the expected amount, people still don't want to switch their jobs. Recently when I asked someone(with 2 yrs of exp) why are you not switching your job even though your not satisfied with you pay (was not even sufficient to rent a house ) but still they choose to hang in there for a while because they were not confident and was feared to lose the current job they had...

What do you think about it? What are your thoughts on job security or Switching?
