Do you think it's time for a new national party?

One that doesn't talk about religion or caste, but development and technology and jobs.

One that doesn't have old members who are 60+

One that doesn't resort to defection/coalition.

I've been thinking a lot about how there's not enough new parties with people in their twenties and thirties, yet our young population is at its peak. We need more representation of people our age and mentality imo. Everyone's tired of corrupt boomers in every existing party dividing votes on various factors.

What do you think? Is it time for people to start more local parties oriented towards youth of today? One that shifts away from current politics? Would you vote for it?

Hindus ko ek nahi kiya na or agr religion pe bhi focus nahi kiya, Bangladesh or Punjabis or kashmiri's jaisa haal ho jaega. STOP your tech startup sde Drama and watch better things. Apne hi desh mein minorities banna hai kya ?

Bhai agreed on this but yar corruption to khtm hona chaiye na. Agar corruption band hojayega to max problems solve hojayegi. Like infra, roads, better air, life.

I don't care about religion. It's a personal matter of individuals.

People won't vote for any such party. Parties exist because people vote for them.

It sounds good on paper, but doesn't work in reality. People like you and me are and will be minority even in the foreseeable future. Majority votes based on caste and freebies.

Talk about yourself not others. Will you vote for such a party.

Bhai karega kaun. Nayak to dekhi hogi. If you don't belong from political background either you will be killed or no one will believe you. You have to powerful to fight against these corrupt politicians. I think about this everytime why India doesn't have young leaders who are educated but don't you think ki ab tak ye chij bhut logo n Sochi hogi but koi action nhi Lena chahta.

Bro politicians civil servants joh honest rehte ko hi nahin chodte, educated leader ko kaise jane denge,we need someone who is not just educated but has experience in connecting the masses and resolving their problems they face and stronger to handle their rivals.

Voted are always casted on emotional issues like religion or caste (India) or BLM, Women Rights, LGBTQ, MAGA (America). Nobody votes for your flavourless issues like development and technology. That is human psyche. Dev and tech may come as byproducts but voters don’t get mobilised by that. IF somehow these can be turned into emotional/identity issues then there’s some chances.

I think job losses and risks from AI is enough of an identity issue for everyone

ZestyPenguin

It is not. The language of your post and this response hints at lack of understanding of how masses behave. It would help if you read up on identity and emotional side of human beings. We are not rational, we are selectively rational, deeply emotional creatures.

Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) in Tamilnadu tried to be one. It rose up by fighting caste discrimination and almost succeeded in eradicating caste based surnames of people in the state. Unfortunately, like any political party in the country, it got into corruption by late 80s.

TN is an interesting example though, never had BJP come to power and rarely any national party. Only local parties mostly. And still leading on major state metrics.

Party not piggyriding on caste/religion is sure shot flop. Nothing works in uniting a group other than marking another group as enemy. So BJP wants politics to revolve around religion and Congress wants caste chunking. Its maths at end of day.

But would you vote for such a party

"lOok at the rEsUlts of the poll!!!11"

Dude, make a poll about "Want to be a billionaire". It'll be yes by a big margin. Doesn't mean jack. What a thakela argument

ZippyMochi
ZippyMochi

What's your argument? That such a party shouldn't even exist?

JumpyCoconut
JumpyCoconut

The problem is that the percentage of ppl who vote for such a party is very very very less. Such a party won’t promise freebies or reservations. 0 incentive for maximum population to vote for this. Even if such a party exists, will it come to power?

ZippyMochi
ZippyMochi

Doesn't matter how many votes it gets. The point is if it should even exist or not, which most people do think it should.

Where’s the fun in that?

Max fun because max chaos. Boomers won't know what to do when facing millennials and gen z in parliament.

It's funny how everyone's first reaction is to comment it won't work, yet the number of votes for yes is leading by a big margin.
