Last year, there were talks of making tax free limit upto 7.5-10L, and nothing happened, literally nothing apart from 50k to 75k standard deduction, that is like not even peanuts. Now they are saying 15L limit in talks. I don't think anything will happen, India's tax terrorism is going to continue. What are your thoughts or comments?
Gvmt does not have much scope in reducing tax collection. With all ladli yojanas, tax collection will only go up. never come down. Even if they reduce the personal tax , they will offset it with increase in some other tax.
Nope, don't expect. These kinds of things always floats out before budget to navigate the attention of taxpayers. They are just looking to tax out people at every nook and corner through hook or by crook without even understanding the ground reality.
