Trending @Cognizant; Do you think Cognizant would care if someone died from overworking?

Lately I have been wondering about the work that I have been doing here. It is mindless and monotonous but I have to work extremely long hours.

I have almost no time to socialise with friends and family. I earn peanuts while my manager is having a great time. I am extremely overworked while many people on the same project are chilling.

I complained to my Team Lead but instead of helping me out he said, "Yeh to hota hi hai" I work very hard but I am being rewarded with more hardwork rather than appreciation and validation. I am not sure whether this is the right use of my time.

It feels like I have sold my soul to an evil corporation while I have nothing better to do apart from commuting, working, eating and sleeping.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way?

Work where your work and you both are acknowledged with good pay. Anyone can replace you tomorrow. You go to a place where you have work life balance and peace. Living life is more important than working for 12,13 hours a day. Switch for your own good.

But is switching possible for someone with 2 yrs of exp? I can't count the number of applications or jobs I've applied to.💔

Yes, you can. Market is a bit slow right now but once you get calls come out of it. Which skill do you work in?

I have completed the user stories assigned to me for the current sprint which ends on this friday. Now that I am free for next 3 days, my PO assigned me with 2 more stories 🤌🏻
