Trending @Accenture; Do you think Accenture would care if someone died from overworking?

Lately I have been wondering about the work that I have been doing here. It is mindless and monotonous but I have to work extremely long hours.

I have almost no time to socialise with friends and family. I earn peanuts while my manager is having a great time. I am extremely overworked while many people on the same project are chilling.

I complained to my Team Lead but instead of helping me out he said, "Yeh to hota hi hai" I work very hard but I am being rewarded with more hardwork rather than appreciation and validation. I am not sure whether this is the right use of my time.

It feels like I have sold my soul to an evil corporation while I have nothing better to do apart from commuting, working, eating and sleeping.

Is it just me or does anyone else feel the same way?

Irrespective of company..everyone is replaceable...so nobody cares..prioritize your health and family time. Not every team is Accenture is like that. Try looking to go to different project/role within Accenture or look for outside if it's that's frustrating.

Going through same. But what you can do - "Work only in your shift hours." - Dont give a fuck about escalations or delay - if someone comes to you - you can straight away tell that I have highlighted this multiple times. I have been through this and idgaf about anything outside working hours. Just leave everything as it is.

Lately j faced similar situation and the worst part is there is no in the team with whom I can do a lil non-project gap shap. Other team members are located somewhere else.

So what I suggest is to look for an option within or outside the company. Oh wait....just stop over working I know there will be a compulsion but resist from within. If nothing helps look for someone with whom you can work if you are going to the office.

REMEMBER, IF YOU CAN'T CHANGE THE GAME, CHANGE THE GAME.

Managers need to deliver ...so they'll utilize all resources to the max... The more you do the more they'll ask of you... All they care about is getting their work done in lesser pay....simple corporate fact...

I used to be like you thinking that all of the project work which i know is all i am responsible or handle single handed-ly but brother you are thinking bullshit that you will be recognised by doing so, you will only be loaded with works if you complete your work on time. There are 2 option to survive in this corporate either do less work and grow slowly or switch company and work rapidly there is no other case.
