Do you support or are against the current Farmer's protest and their demands?
While, few things to note are, government is already heavily spending OUR TAX payers money on Farmer's schemes, schemes like paying 6k directly to their accounts cost thousands of crores from tax payers money. Now the MSP demand is going to be a heavy one on that, where you pay farmers even if crop is spoiled or destroyed for any reason. This will also load to lot of fraud claims and corruption. If you have valuable thoughts about why it should be supported, please share.
If you don't want to pay MSP, you should also get comfortable with paying 100 rupees per kg for onions and tomatoes.
Is it fair for the govt to control the upper limit of produce cost but not the lower limit? That's absurd.
By that logic even MRP should be abolished. No other Western country has such a concept.
I can't explain the logic here but i am sure that even if MSP is applied, there is no guarantee that you won't pay 100 rs for produce.
Secondly, MSP would cause more load and fraud claims.
Every tool, rule and policy will have loopholes and ways to abuse. Does that justify scrapping everything?
Even UPI scams have increased by many multiples, should we stop running UPI? How about Aadhar cards?

You are already doing it bro. And these so called 'kisan neta' are the ones who own huge chunks of land and do business of local lending/zamindari. They also do lot of blank and white on the name of agricultural produce. So yeah, given all this, if you support, your choice.

This time all of the country already knows that this is a big drama for some local politicians to shine their politics. So, either people don't care or have no sympathies for them. And it's all because these guys have made a joke out of their protest. Raising Khalistan slogans, blocking highways, riding tractors without any care for traffic rules and worst of all destroying a heritage site. So, when you open any social media, you can see all the people either hating them or abusing them. Even people from their own land and profession. You wanted MSP, you could have asked for it nicely but now what you are doing is just terrorism.
The only benefit is to improve the supplychain and educate farmers on who is looting their money. Its the dalals. Also, farmers should be taught on minimum economic viability.
Example, rice grown on an acre cannot be sold competitively with farmers who own hectares of land and sell rice aka paddy .
Actually the key lies in handholding farming policy and increasing the pricing power of farmers.
Distributors/Traders should be thrown out of the chain.

My nanaji still actively framing, wheat/soybean on own land, even he's laughing off this nautanki.
Also WHY does only PB/HR doing this, rest of India also does FARMING.
