Do you still check on features you built after leaving a company?

I left my company 12 months ago, but I still find myself going back to the app to check on features I worked on. I spent so much time refining them, pushing for iterations, and tracking their impact that it’s hard not to wonder how they’re doing now. Sometimes, I even reach out to old teammates just to see if the metrics are holding up or if things have changed.

I’m curious—do other PMs do this too? Do you check in on the products you helped build, or do you move on completely? How do you disconnect from something you invested so much time and effort into?

You are smart, I wish I had done that, I had checked features but didn't connect with colleagues to know about the statsus of the products I worked for, however, you wouldn't no numbers, right?. Did your previous colleagues shared numbers related to your product?

Yes, I often catch up with my colleagues and mostly they know ball park numbers.

Catching up with colleagues is a Great Way to strengthen your network.

Not a PM, but a dev I do sometimes. Also used for flexing within a friend circle.

I do that, I show that to my colleagues and I brag about it. I feel happy looking back on my brain child 🥹

Yes, I do. Had a facepalm 🤦 moment when one of the colleagues asked about a feature I built but wasn’t working.
