Do you seriously read Job Descriptions (JDs) before applying?

People voting "JDs are useless"

Jds are useless , maximum times the work and the JD are not at all related. The JD will be a copy paste from Google or chatgpt. The person who prepares itself is not sure what he is writing. Sometimes when I go to interview with JD as reference, they wud ask something else. Sometimee the interviewer himself will be from a different account and wud hv been hired for just this interview. So here JD and interviewer both are useless .

This is Jd from Mercer company, and at the time of interview I got shocked when the hiring manager told me that this profile is for calling which includes 70% of calling and I don't even need to open Ms Excel. The JD and the job profile, what's your opinions?
