If you're investing in mutual funds you don't need to follow stock market news at all. Just 1 day in a year sit down and analyse your funds and rebalance, that's it.
I watch Akshat's videos but lately his videos haven't been giving any information or learnings. He is focused too much on foreign markets and forgotten that most of his subscribers are living in India and hardly investing any other markets.

Yes now he sounds like a broken speaker saying the same things, invest in goa/dubai real estate, get out of India etc

I had good profit in mf, but then saw a youtube video by akshat that it's much better to invest in stocks, why give expense ratio 1% every year to someone. I tried investing in stocks for 1-2 years, purchased top stocks like HDFC, TCS, RIL, Infosys. Guess what? Now my profit in stocks is equal to expense ratio lol just 0.62% in 2 years. So now I stopped this nonsense and resumed mf investments, it's not for me

P. S. My mutual fund investment in small cap, mid cap, and index funds has given a XIRR of 12% over 5 years.
