I'm working on a community, the idea is to make cities better by bringing few villages like qualities, because obviously villages are better.

- No medical facilities near by
- Roads are unimaginably bad
- Still no running water supply in many places people are struggling for water in night like 11pm or beyond.

- For youths in the village no source of income only way to earn is to participate in daily wages like stone churning or supporting agriculture which again is the hidden unemployment.

And people are still fantasizing the village life because we are living with hypocritical and corrupt society !!!
What we actually need is a two sided community here, cities and villages both have things the other would like to have.
access to fresh produce for example, many agri startups and platforms are enabling that for cities. At the same time villages need mentors to help with their challenges solvable by implementing tech and mobilizing communities.
Maybe even exchange programs that can do targeted campaigns or medium to long term projects.

Please stop glorify villages ,villages are not aspirational ,now u can brag about the greenery and other stuff and tell you charming memories of it .But the fact is they are useless that's why all people are moving to unrban cities.
All this is fake sentiments I want to know how village life is way better than urban life. Unless u have lot of money and u want to go retire but that too u would be searching for top facilities.
When someone talk about village life just make sure ur ok with that kind of life style too ok.
Villages are the worst in India. Not one good thing about them.
Infrastructure: roads are generally bad(improving) but to public transportation. Electricity has gotten bit better
Healthcare: Non existent
Food: it might look fresh , but heavy use of pesticide and weedicides
