Anytime is a good time if you are purchasing for self use.
I waited for it till I can contribute significant amount in down payment and to make EMI manageable. Finfluencers advice of renting worked for me generated more savings to afford a decent size house.
I kept my expenses very low compared to my investment
Yeah anytime is good, but how many years it takes to generate that amount of savings?
It depends on person and their desire, decide how your place you want to be, then check for price subsequently investment amount

I wish to build my own home in a quiet t2 city somewhere. I am completely out of depth about the costs involved but I'll share my goal/plan anyway.
I am 25 today and I'll be building a house after 10 years. I am estimating the land + home will cost me 7Cr, I am investing in this goal assuming I'll make a 50% down payment and the remaining will be loan. 7Cr feels low to me because i also have to buy the land... Idk this post is more blabber than helpful contribution to this post.
