Do you folks keep slack / work email on personal mobile phone?

I find it difficult to disconnect from work even after work hours which takes a toll on my mental health. I think one of the major contributors is company slack and mail on personal devices.

Dude, that should be the most easy thing. Keeping it on your phone will help you to go anywhere without your laptop. It's basically zero dependence

You can always turn off notifications on weekends and after office hours. That's what I do, helps with the mental peace.

It took me a lot of time and courage to remove evrything on personal device. If it's something urgent, I'll get a call anyways so fuck it.

That's the way 😂 I feel exactly the same.

Notification schedule can be set on Slack to turn off the notifications outside working hours and weekends.

Also, there’s an option to turn off notifications on gmail, for separate IDs.

Using it for your own convenience without getting bothered with continuous pings is the key.

Used to keep it but after a while it indeed started to take a toll on mental health and currently have just disabled the sync and notifications from the work apps, at least get some peach after work hour 😅
