The giant companies, they say, are your employers. Somebody built them as their super dream project, who probably has a major stock in the company now, and everyone including the CEO is just working and working because they can't not work, because the company exists now and it will be stupid to let it shut down, so they go on playing the money game and so are you - all the time.
Employment at the high levels is vastly different from employment at lower and middle levels.
They do not work for money. They work for power.
Follow your dream is just bollywood nonsense. For most of us, we work to keep food on the table.
Purpose is what drives us.
