This therapy nonsense is western imported shit. Get a purpose in life is the best medicine for depression. Other than that only therapist we need to consult is a physio or psychologist. The rest therapy- marriage counselling, depression are just snake oil salesman.

It's not just for depression or marriage counseling. It's also for people who have serious conditions, phobia, behaviours that they want to change etc. Sometimes people are lonely and just need someone to talk to that will hear them out without judgement. It's rare today.

This is such a childish and closed minded take. Try getting a bit of perspective in life. And if you don't know what depression is or how it affects people, better read up or just shut up rather than preaching "get a purpose in life", buddy like you're not slaving out for someone else's business and calling it a "purpose".
