Do you also feel that hiring companies these days expect perfection from candidates in interviews and focus less on potential?
I’m a mid level manager and I recently gave multiple interviews for a higher position. And everywhere I go, people expect you to complete each and every checkbox they have for the role. There’s no focus on whether a particular individual would be able to grow into a job.

That's true.. They are judging if you can answer 10/10 question or not... If you answer 9/10 question then you are rejected.. That's harsh truth

You can only imagine how is it for other roles when managers are going through this

That’s like everywhere in such Senior role, everybody expects perfection. Your best hope is to just keep trying and hope that some day you come across an interviewer who asks you exactly what you know!

Literally Bro, this happened with me today in an interview, the interviewer was asking theoretical questions and expecting to give answers as multiple points, even though I have solved each problem solving questions but no they were expecting a perfect candidate who basically knows everything.
