Trending @Wipro; Do we need to serve 3 months notice period if we resign when on LOP or can get immediate release with experience letter?

I recently resigned (end of July). I was coming on bench from august. My conversation with HR was that LOP will not be valid but I need to and have to complete 90 days of notice period. There is no early release option they said.

From one person I heard that they didn't releived him while in LOP and asked him to pay bonus back post notice period while in LOP. So he took back his resignation as he couldn't offered to pay back his 3rd year bonus.

I think we will get instant release, I have heard people talking about it that some of their frnds got instantly released
