Do we need to pay Health insurance premium after quitting TCS?
I got final settlement stating that I have to pay 8K for Health insurance but I quit TCS on 28th July 2025. I have been worked for more than 5 company's but this is new to me. I am wondering what it is and why that are asking me to pay the full year insurance premium after quitting.
The below is the component deducted from my Full & Final Settlement.
HIS Prm for Non Snr Citz - 12,287.00 HIS Prm for Snr Citz - 17,356.00
Is there a way not to pay this amount? Or can I use this insurance for surgery or any other medical claim for this year?
Don't know why TCS is like this to suck employees hard working money.

If parents are added then tcs has already paid that to mediclaim and recovery is done in installments from associates salary. When you resign, the remaining amount due to tcs needs to be paid as part of FnF. Then only a relieving letter will be given.

For my parents agreed but for me why would they deduct. Even if I pay all the premium amount. Will I be eligible for any claims related to surgery or other medical expense for the entire 2025-2026 because i paid for the complete year?
