You will not get any mail. This is all done electronically now. Managers don't have time to send physical mail anymore. It's all about speed and efficiency, not tradition.
Then when do we get to know if our manager has nominated our name in h1b lottery? Do the managers communicate it verbally? Or at the end when our visa results are out , we get to know about it?
Yes, you should get a mail as many documents need to be uploaded for H1B application
Once the nomination stage closes i.e. on 31st Jan, and finalised by stakeholders, all nominated employees get email triggered for acceptance, employees have to accept the nomination and further processing in tool this is planned to be completed by 10th Feb
