Do we always have to prepare for dsa and system design if we want to switch. How do you handle all of this personal responsibility especially the ones with kids

There are companies that don’t give importance to the theoretic DSA and System Design process for senior roles.

The DSA round is there. But it’s not given that much importance. You will need to know the concepts of system design, but you’d have hands-on experience and not just a ratta-maar knowledge.

It’s decent. not top-tier FAANG level, not TCS level too.

Ex: IBM Services pays Software Architects with 10 YoE about 35-40L at least. They don’t have a Algo / DSA round.
