Do u do things you don't like just to socialize and meet new people?

Earlier I used to try mixing up, but realized that if you don't feel yourself as one from the group, you may not be so even after trying.

Now, I either just stay silent when in a gathering if I don't have anything better to say, I just talk when talked to or ask something if I genuinely feel to ask.

I try not to judge the other group as well. I stick around them when I feel like and don't hangout with them when I don't.

In a lot of social situations where I get uncomfortable, I try to just turn that part of my brain off (not think about it) and just do it.
