Do TCS pay arrears for Annual Appraisal?

Hello Legends,

I have got my Annual Appraisal letter in 1st week of August (I know a bit late, but i was on notice period when the letters were released). The letter says the appraisal is wef 1st April. So will I get arrears in Aug salary for 4 months?

PS - I accepted retention from TCS. If anyone is planning to do the same - DON'T.
