1st Sept to 31st Aug is the cycle.

Sick and casual leaves will lapse at the end of Aug. Earned leaves can be carry forwarded but that has a limit too based on your base location/State.

For example, Gurugram/Haryana you can only accumulate upto 30 days of EL anything over that lapses after 31st Aug.

Noida/UP - you can accumulate upto 45 days of EL, anything over that lapses after 31st Aug

EL will be carry forwarded sick and casual will not be carry forwarded , sept to sept is acc fiscal year
