
Do HRs realise this?
Been seeing and hearing that HRs are forcing people to resign. But once the headcount is low there wouldn't be much need for the HRs as well. Are they digging their own grave?

The primary job of these HRs is to save their own job.
Problem of TCS RMG HRs is there since ages. Still I am yet to see an HR is being fired for reasons like not supporting employees or not responding to their concerns on time.
So HRs will remain safe. Because that's the only expertise they have.

That's what Microsoft did, there is story that one of the HRs who was asked to take care of layoffs for past 2 years was released in the latest layoffs.

HR is usually the last person who leaves when any company gets closed. So even if low HC , they are better safe then other function employees. They know that. Think how many HR you may have for Unit having 10000 associates... They will be able to justify their presence.
