Do companies check service history in PF portal

Do companies check an employee's service history in the PF portal during background verification? Please help!

Some companies ask may ask you to provide screenshot of service history from epfo portal

I had left a company without serving the notice period due to issues with the manager who forced me to work on a useless project. The exit date for that company is marked in the EPFO portal but I don't have a relieving letter. Will that be a problem?

Nope. They might call your old company and verify details. But thats it. No one has access to EPFO except you

afaik no, the hrs can't check pf portal. i can be wrong
