Do branch in Engineering matters? , I M NON CSE GUY

Hey folks , Lately , I see all the folks with greater packages with good technical knowledge and in all the senior position are mainly based out of CSE . So what are your view on this? Is anyone here from Mech or Civil engineering working in FAANG or equivalent ? Give me your view on this.
