Discussion on Fluidity
My functional role in the project is Lead, with few associates reporting to me—three of whom are in the C3A band. My SDM informed me that two associates are part of the fluidity plan. All team members are performing well, and the project contract is valid for long term. I’d like to understand what TCS is planning in this context.

Well tbh, the organisation itself does not know what to do. At this point they are experimenting.
They are silently shutting down offices but due to govt pressure or union pressure they were forced to buy or rent new offices
They tried laying off people in bench but it turns out the actual people they intended to fire are still here and the talented people are being kicked
Now they are trying to fire people to reduce head count again the bootlickers who dont bring output stays but the talented people get kicked out due to politics
Clients have become more demanding and they need RoI. Org is struggling to provide the results. The billing and ROI from client perspective makes no sense.
So yeah now they think they can manage projects with minimal staff because they feel the people who are staying back are people who dont have any choice or option and choose to stay for security.
Well those in the list will be the people to be ousted from project later from org. But tbh like you said they dont care about performance rather boost their pockets before they leave.
Long story short its a crap show.

The project is not TNM billing and people are filling timesheet under non billable
