Trending @Accenture; Discrimination in Bangalore - what are we turning into
My auto driver dropped me on the opposite side Despite pinning the exact drop-off location, he stopped the vehicle in the middle of ongoing traffic on the opposite side of the road, where there was no safe crossing or nearby bridge. The road had four lanes with heavy traffic from multiple directions, making it extremely dangerous to get down at that point.
When I explained that it was unsafe and that there was no pedestrian crossing available, the driver became arrogant and started shouting at me in Kannada. From what I could understand, he was telling me to leave Bangalore and go back to my city, (something like no kanadda, leave Bangalore go go go leave)
I was forced to walk a long distance to find a bridge. This incident ruined the start of my workday and left me shaken.
Been to so many cities but never experienced such discrimination, what Bangalore is turning into.

No worries things will settle in next 5-10 years. VCs are investing more in other cities to grow their IT infrastructure .

No worries other states are getting investments now and they do not force any language then Karnataka peple will realise their mistake
