I joined Accenture in 2022 and that was one of the happiest moments in my life ❤️❤️❤️
From last 2 years I have been stuck in a really bad project under a really bad manager...
The team lead in this project is himself very depressed in his career and he brings in lot of negative energy within the team...
There is absolutely no team bonding within the team members and every body seems to have an IDGAF attitude...
Due to this every one involved in the project is suffering 😭😔😭
Team lead will not even help in the complex tasks and will not even connect with me or other members to check the difficulty we are facing in developing the functionality....
Team members highlighted this situation to the manager but the manager is simply ignoring what the team members have to say.
The situation in the project is so critical that the client has given WARNING ⚠️ that they will take the project away from Accenture 🫣🫣🫣
Due to all such issues there is pressure from onshore as well as offshore managers 😭😭😭
Also recently 5 people from onshore team have resigned and left Accenture due to which the entire pressure has shifted to offshore developers who don't have knowledge of existing functionalities developed on the project 😭😭😭
Overall the work environment has degraded in last 8 months and I am completely clueless of what i should do...
Please help me!!!
Sounds like a mess. You need to escalate this to higher management or HR immediately. If they don't act, start looking for a new job. Don't waste your time in a toxic environment.
I don’t believe it totally because I am also Tech lead and helping both client, onshore team and offshore team. I have also joined Accenture in Jan 2022. The journey is difficult but I focus and believe in positive nature including toxic environment because toxic environment is in mind. Believe me you will succeed ahead in Accenture as I believed in my tasks as well with my Manager and team mates. You will have a great career ahead. As I was also suffering from good and bad experiences but I believe in good experiences and moving ahead in Accenture. As Accenture has supported me always. Good luck and have a right attitude because Accenture believes in ethics as I also follow the same.
It's same for me as well , i joined Accenture in 2021 and stuck in a very bad project and situation is same as yours , I have tried in and out everything from end , nothing helps, I have resigned due to toxic culture...
- So 1st thing try to find new job and resign
- Keep everything in mails,and keep proofs, don't believe in teams chat and verbal calls
- send a mail to higher authorities informing the situation you are facing , try to send reminder mails , if nothing coming just include HR as well
- If nothing works, send a formal mail to your manager for your release , if they don't care then include HR ..... atleast keep everything in mails
Two ways Opportunity: Any have you are in worst condition. Take lead and look for functionality, learn about project from documents and delegate tasks. Smart Escape: Look for opportunities outside put papers ASAP. Else this is the opportunity for Accenture to kick out entire ur DU
