Diploma followed by degree or 10+2 followed by degree in Engineering. Which is better?

Hi

Based on your experience, I wanted to know if a 10th pass graduate should pursue diploma (to gain practical experience) followed by B Tech. Or whether he should burn the midnight oil for IITs NITs etc and then go for B TECH. Please suggest.

I'm a Diploma+Degree grad. Once you have a degree it really doesn't matter at all. If you're aiming for IIT, NIT then it's a different scenario

Thanks so much. Does the skill set is more in diploma + degree grad?

There's not a lot of difference. It comes down to the technical culture of thr college. In my case I was on the same level as people who gave entrance exam after 12th. Most of my skills I've learned after my engineering degree anyway 🥲. But it gkes without saying that Diploma students struggle at Math during the degree. You'll have to manage that.
