Does getting c band last year affect my promotion from c1 to c2 this year

I have in total 5.5 yoe
3 years 4 months in my previous organization and
1 year 11 months in tcs

C1 to C2 happens around 4 yoe. Band also impacts promotion. Try to at least get B band. Don't assume that Promotion will happen after you cross some years. It depends on many things

Also my manager told I will have to complete 2 years in tcs to be eligible for promotion! Is this true
