Dilemma for Mtech
There are two kinds of runners in life — one runs to escape, the other runs because they love the journey. I fall in the second category.
At 4 years of experience, I’m earning ~20 LPA, but growth seems limited in next 3-4 years without moving into management — which I’m not inclined toward.
I’m considering an MTech despite the high opportunity cost (10L+ in fees, ~40L lost salary) because in the long run, it may help me break into top product companies — something my tier-3 background is currently blocking.
Open to thoughts or suggestions from anyone who’s taken a similar path.

Not worth it. How about doing masters in Germany and settling there 🤨

Yeah, agreed. Even if goal is not to settle in Germany, doing Masters from there will be worth more than Indian MTech, and plus studying abroad will provide international exposure and personality growth
